I just started rewatching every episode in order. I got up to book 1 episode 8 so far. I just have to say the story's amazing, the animation's amazing, the character development's amazing. Geez I love it so much.

It's basically the best thing ever, like anime, except without the cruddy dubbing from <language> to english! because it pretty much is!

I also watched Korra. Definitely not as good, but I'm still anticipating season 3

btw, have you seen the comics that take place 1 year after the final episode of the last airbender?

They are still being written. 2 more comics then the trilogy is done, each of them is 3 parts (9 parts in all, 7 are done. next one is this month)

The Rift is an upcoming trilogy written by Gene Yang, which will follow Aang as he begins the process of establishing Republic City. Set after the conclusion of The Search, it will be illustrated by Gurihiru and published by Dark Horse Comics. Part 1 was released on March 5, 2014,[3] with the second expected to follow on July 29,[4] and the third on November 18.[5]

There wasn't enough Aang flashbacks in Korra. I think there was one or two in the 26 episodes released.

well Korra isn't meant to be directly tied to the legend of Aang. it's meant to be different but similar. Korra learns spiritual stuff, while aang knew that from the start. Korra knew 3/4 of the elements at age 5. also, one main thing is that the world isn;t at war, but is mainly peaceful

My thoughts: Looks good. From what I can gather, Bumi appears to be airbending and there's a firebender with a gigantic scar (obviously Zuko)

Zuko was my favorite character and I'm glad to see him back in action. I hope he's as wise as his uncle by now...
